Our History
From London to Rutland
Having started making curtains for Heal's in their curtain workroom in Archway in the late 80's, Carole Ward and her husband opened their own curtain workroom in Manor House, North London in 1989.
1994 saw them opening their own shop named Deco, on Hornsey High Street before moving to Crouch End in 1998.
In 2001 with a young family to contend with, the decision to revert back to a curtain workroom was taken.
In 2004 they relocated to Rutland where they now trade under the name Rutland Curtains, operating throughout the area from their own workroom in Whissendine, just outside Oakham.
A full curtain fitting service is offered for both tracks and poles.
Accounts are held with major suppliers whilst customers own fabric is welcome.
